Welcome to the web-site that answers all your questions about the first urban adventure race to be held in southeastern Michigan, The Blast.

The Blast is coming in May of 2008 to the Phoenix Center in Pontiac, MI and it’s sure to be just that – A Blast!!!!

What is The Blast? It’s an urban adventure race completed by two-person teams on foot, on bike, by paddling a canoe, and a ropes course. Along the way, each team completes special events. The types of special events as well as the course specifics are only found out on race day.

This event is a great opportunity to try out adventure racing for the first time and also a chance for experienced racers to prepare for longer events. Triathletes can use this event for training since the disciplines are similar.
